This is a fun, easy hike with great views of Mt. Rainier and Adams when you reach the top as well as a magnifcant view of Cispus River snaking through the forest below. This is a 4 mile round trip hike and gains 1,300'

Directions: Turn south in Randle, cross the Cowlitz River and drive 1 mile. Turn left on Road 23 and in 9 miles turn right on road 29. In 14 miles turn left and in 18 miles you will find Juniper Peak trailhead on the left. Tongue Mountain trailhead is on the right side of the road.
