Lower Lena Lake
---

This is a easy hiking trail which is free from snow most of the year through a beautiful forested area that is very popular and often crowded. 6 miles round trip and less then 1,200' elevation gain make this a super hike for most any age. Because of a reclamation project, please be sure to camp in designated areas only. A great side hike is just north and east of the far end of the lake through the Valley of the Silent Men. which is very beauitful.

Directions: Drive US 101 along Hood Canal to Eldon then west on the Hamma Hamma River road about 9 miles to Phantom Creek and a half mile beyond to the trail head.
