This is an easy stroll on an asphalt path to the former lookout with a 360 degree view from the Elwha River to the Central Olympics to the Strait of Juan de Fuca. This is a 2.5 mile round trip walk with 700' of elevation gain. The area is a blaze of color when the lupine, paintbrush, etc. are in bloom.
Directions: From Port Angeles, follow the signs to the Hurricane Ridge road pass the Olympic National Park Visitors Center and into the park. Go pass the Visitors Center at 18 miles and continue to the roads end.
