Heather Lake
---

The hike in and the lake itself are nestled in view of Grizzly Peak in the Henry M. Jackson Wilderness area above Lake Wenatchee.  Lots to explore with quiet solitude and for those with lots of energy a great scramble up to Glasses Lake is a must. This hike is appropriate for anyone except small children. It is 6.5 miles round trip with only a 1,300 elevation gain.

Directions: From the upper end of Lake Wenatchee, drive 6 miles on Little Wenatchee River Road then left crossing over the river and follow the river upstream just short of 5 miles. This trailhead can also be reached from the east side of Stevens Pass.
